We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of the REEVALUATE project, marking the beginning of an incredible journey in cultural heritage digitisation. Hosted by the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) in Thessaloniki, Greece, our launch event brought together diverse partners from 7 countries with expertise from different sectors.
During the launch event, we established the groundwork for our project, which aims to provide a comprehensive solution to the challenges encountered by the cultural heritage sector in digitizing their collections. This framework aims to ensure safe, open, collaborative, and inclusive practices. It will offer a structured approach to manage digitization efforts, tackling vital issues like intellectual property rights, cultural sensitivity, and the proper use of digital technologies.
REEVALUATE will validate its approach through three distinct real-life use cases in the Fashion and Gaming, Advertising, and Tourism industries. By demonstrating the framework’s efficacy in managing the challenges associated with digitizing CH artifacts, we aim to pave the way for broader adoption and implementation across various sectors.
Stay tuned for more updates and developments as we progress through the REEVALUATE project.
